London Mortgage Solutions Ltd is a directly authorised mortgage and specialist finance brokerage based in Mayfair, with a second office in Beaconsfield. We are led by our managing director, Nik Mair.

How we work
Directly authorised, and direct with lenders
Directly authorised means we hold our own permissions from the Financial Conduct Authority rather than operating under another firm's. We are responsible for our own advice, our own compliance and our own file standards, and we are answerable for them directly.
Direct with lenders means specialist cases go to the lender's own underwriters rather than through a packager. When an underwriter has a question, we answer it, and we hear the answer first-hand rather than through an intermediary.
Specialist enquiries — bridging, development, commercial and complex residential — are read by the managing director on the working day they arrive. That is a deliberate structure, not a courtesy: those cases turn on judgement, and judgement does not delegate well.
We also say no. If a case does not work, we say so and explain why, rather than submitting it and letting a lender deliver the bad news after you have paid for a valuation.
